As a small business owner in Calgary, every milestone feels like a moment to celebrate—and today, I’m thrilled to share a big one! YYC Crafts is now part of two more amazing Alberta communities: you can now find my plantable wildflower greeting cards at The Hive in Nanton and The Hive in Claresholm.
For a handmade business like mine, expanding into new locations means more than just shelf space. It’s about connection. It’s about introducing something thoughtful and eco-friendly into new homes, shops, and hearts. It’s the start of a new conversation with people I might never have reached otherwise. Just like the wildflowers that bloom from my cards, this expansion is a sign of growth. One tiny seed—an idea, a product, a handmade design—can take root and spread beauty in unexpected places. I also want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Greenbriar Market, my very first retail partner in Calgary. Their support helped me grow from a small idea to a blooming business, and I’m proud to continue working with both of their locations. So, whether you're in Calgary, Nanton, or Claresholm, thank you for supporting small businesses and shopping local. You’re helping something beautiful grow—inside and out.
