Fuzz was rescued from the streets and adopted through the SPCA when he was just six months old, alongside another cat named Spice and the two became the closest siblings. Back then he was fiercely independent - didn't need anyone, didn't want to cuddle. Somewhere along the way, that changed completely. Now he's a total mama's boy. He's my shadow, my alarm clock, always wanting to cuddle, never wanting to be alone. He's 15 now, and he's still my baby. 
Right now he has a bladder stone that needs to come out, and soon. He's in pain, and if it moves, it could block his urine entirely — which turns this into an emergency instead of a planned surgery.
*Update: His surgery has now been put on hold. We are waiting for the results of a urine test to see if his kidneys can handle it. Supposed to hear back Tuesday, Sept 8th.

What this is actually costing:

• Vet visit to diagnose: $443 (already paid)
• Urine test; $13
• Surgery: $1,600–$1,800 (estimate — could run higher if anything unexpected comes up during the procedure)

Total so far: roughly $2,043–$2,243, before accounting for anything else that could come up. Every card sold from the Friends line goes toward it — that's the $2,000 I'm working to raise right now.
